Our son started piano at a young age. We wondered, were we were starting him too early? We were immediately put at ease and couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate, caring, professional, musically talented teacher. Teacher Leanne has become more than an instructor. When we have our concerts, the little gatherings put on after the show bring us all together to celebrate each students efforts and growth. Leanne has taught my boys piano lessons for the last five years. Not only does she have an incredible talent for music but she is a kind, patient, gentle and caring teacher. She can read the student and adjust the lessons to be exactly what they need. My youngest boy has ADHD and he really struggles to stay focused during his lessons. Leanne is always calm and she gently guides him back on track. She is a lovely and kind human being with a true passion and talent for music.

My daughter Shaelyn started Music for Young Children with Teacher Leanne when she was not even a year old. Leanne taught her right through the whole program and beyond, teaching her not only to play and understand music but, most importantly, to love it. By five she was writing songs and understood all sorts of theory. Shaelyn is now 14 and music is a very big part of her life because of Teacher Leanne. People such as her band, choir and violin teachers all say that she is very advanced in her theory and technique. We owe this all to Teacher Leanne for making the hard stuff fun and challenging her to continue to progress. She looked forward to her music class every week for many years!!
